Medical Science Liaison

Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) are field-based scientific experts employed by pharmaceutical and medical device companies who engage in peer-to-peer scientific exchange with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and payers, providing scientific support for clinical evidence generation and medical education programs in their therapeutic areas. They require PhD, PharmD, or MD qualifications with deep therapeutic area expertise, and must operate strictly within medical affairs boundaries distinguished from promotional commercial activities.
