Autonomous Vehicle Systems Engineers develop the perception, planning, control, and safety systems that enable vehicles to navigate and operate without human intervention, working on sensor fusion (LIDAR, radar, cameras), path planning algorithms, vehicle control systems, and safety architecture for automated driving levels L2+ through L5. German automotive OEMs (BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen) and MENA smart city autonomous mobility programs (NEOM autonomous transport, Dubai autonomous vehicle initiative) are primary employers.
