Behavioral Health Specialist

Behavioral Health Specialists provide integrated mental health and substance use disorder services within primary care, community, and specialty settings, conducting assessments, delivering brief interventions, coordinating complex care, and supporting the integration of behavioral health into medical care delivery. They work with diverse populations including adults, children, and families presenting with depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use challenges. This role reflects the growing movement toward whole-person, integrated care.
