Medical Affairs Managers serve as the scientific and medical interface between pharmaceutical and medical device companies and healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, payers, and regulatory authorities, developing evidence-based scientific communication strategies, managing medical information functions, and supporting medical education programs. They require both scientific credibility (typically MD, PharmD, or PhD) and commercial acumen, operating in the compliance-sensitive space between scientific exchange and promotional activities.
