Reservoir Engineers analyze subsurface oil and gas reservoirs using geological, geophysical, and engineering data to develop reservoir models, estimate recoverable reserves, design production strategies, and optimize field development plans for maximum hydrocarbon recovery. They are critical to upstream operations at Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, QatarEnergy, and other Gulf national oil companies, as well as international operators working in the MENA region. Median compensation ranges from $125,000 to $175,000 for experienced practitioners.
