Wellsite Geologist

Wellsite Geologists provide real-time geological monitoring and interpretation during drilling operations, analyzing drill cuttings, mud logs, and wireline logs to identify lithological changes, formation tops, and reservoir intervals that guide drilling decisions. They communicate geological updates to the asset team, recommend coring or logging runs, and ensure accurate geological documentation of each well drilled. This field-based role requires geological expertise combined with the ability to work extended rotations at remote drilling locations.
