Wind Energy Technician

Wind Energy Technicians install, maintain, and repair wind turbines at onshore and offshore wind farms, performing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system maintenance, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring safe operation. BLS projects this occupation to grow 49.9% by 2034, the fastest of any occupation in the United States, with parallel growth in Germany (Europe's largest wind market) and emerging offshore markets. Requires working at height and in challenging weather conditions.
