Security Engineer, Trust & AI Safety

About This Role

Responsibilities

• Review product and infrastructure designs for security, privacy, access control, logging, and data-retention risks.
• Build security automation in CI/CD, dependency review, secret handling, infrastructure, and application checks.
• Run code analysis, threat modeling, penetration testing, and remediation tracking across web, API, and AI surfaces.
• Test AI workflows for prompt injection, data leakage, unsafe tool use, and scoring manipulation.
• Support security documentation, customer questionnaires, policy work, and certification readiness.
• Partner with Engineering to make secure defaults easy and visible in everyday development.

Requirements

• 3+ years in application security, cloud security, security engineering, or strong software engineering with security focus.
• Hands-on ability to read and write TypeScript, Python, Go, or similar production code.
• Understanding of web security, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, identity, secrets, logging, and incident response.
• Curiosity about AI security, prompt injection, data protection, and model governance.
• Clear communication and ability to prioritize practical risk reduction in a small team.
• Comfort working across product, infrastructure, compliance, and customer-facing trust needs.
