Founding Senior Product Engineer

About This Role

Responsibilities

• Own production reliability and release quality for JobInterview.live ASSESS.
• Build the versioned hiring workflow engine: recruiter-defined stages, transition guards, automation rules, and SLA timers.
• Deliver the human-oversight and approval surfaces so bounded AI agents execute approved recruiting operations with fail-closed policy checks.
• Build the unified scheduling service and durable webhook, notification, and ATS synchronization infrastructure.
• Improve campaign setup, assessment delivery, reporting, and customer onboarding.
• Build secure integrations and operational tooling requested by paying customers.
• Review architecture and code with the founder and help establish engineering standards for the first product team.
• Mentor the later Product Engineer hire while remaining hands-on.

Requirements

• 5+ years building and operating production web applications or B2B SaaS products.
• Strong TypeScript, React, Node.js, SQL, and API design skills.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, cloud infrastructure, observability, and secure production operations.
• Ability to work across product, backend, frontend, data, and infrastructure without waiting for a large support organization.
• Evidence of owning difficult releases, incidents, migrations, or reliability improvements.
• Professional English. French is strongly preferred.
