SIROCCO is on a mission to democratize career success through AI. We're building JobInterview.live - the world's first interview platform with full AI explainability (SHAP-style transparent decision-making), hyper-realistic avatars, and intelligent automation. As Engineering Lead, you'll own a critical product area (e.g., AI/ML infrastructure, interview platform, ATS system) and lead a team of engineers to execute on ambitious technical vision. You'll balance hands-on technical work with people leadership, architectural decisions with execution velocity, and innovation with stability. This is a high-leverage role where you'll shape both the technical direction and engineering culture as we scale from early traction to market leadership in a $200B+ recruitment market.
Responsabilités
- Lead a team of 4-8 engineers and own delivery for critical product area
- Drive technical strategy and architecture for your domain
- Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent to build world-class team
- Partner with Product on roadmap planning and prioritization
- Balance technical debt with feature velocity and make pragmatic tradeoffs
- Ship high-quality code while maintaining technical excellence across team
- Establish engineering best practices, processes, and quality standards
- Collaborate with other Engineering Leads on cross-functional initiatives
Exigences
- 8-12 years software engineering experience with 2+ years leading teams
- Strong technical depth with ability to code and review complex implementations
- Experience scaling engineering teams and systems in high-growth environment
- Track record of shipping impactful products and driving technical excellence
- Strong people leadership with ability to mentor, coach, and grow engineers
- System design expertise and experience making architectural tradeoffs
- Excellent communication skills to align technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Startup experience with comfort navigating ambiguity and rapid change
